Dhaka, March 27 -- ul-Fitr, one of the largest festival of the Muslim, an estimated five million people are expected to leave Dhaka city between Thursday afternoon and midnight Sunday, creating a massive surge in the capital's transportation hubs.
Eid-ul-Fitre is expected to be celebrated in the country on Monday next week. Today (Thursday) was the last working day before the Eid-vacation starts. Though there was no rush of the homebound people in the city's Saidabad, Gabtoli and Jatrabari bus terminals on Thursday morning. But the presence of the homebound people started to increase from afternoon and it would go to extreme rush from evening to late night.
