Sherpur, Jan. 7 -- More than 300 leaders of the Students Against Discrimination (SAD) joined the Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) in Sherpur on Tuesday.

The student leaders completed the formalities in the afternoon at the district BNP office in Raghunath Bazar under the leadership of the district SAD chief coordinator and spokesperson.

Farhan Fuad Tuhin, chief coordinator and spokesperson of the Sherpur district SAD; coordinators and senior organizers Arafat Rahman Talukdar and Nahid Ahmed Niloy; senior joint secretary Monibul Islam; and coordinator Ashiqur Rahman Ashiq were among them.
