Dhaka, July 31 -- The government is going to launch a software on trial basis for submitting bail bonds online as part of its ongoing judicial reforms, Law Adviser Asif Nazrul said on Thursday.

Speaking at a press conference at the Secretariat, he said the software will soon be rolled out to make the bail process more accessible to litigants.

Outlining the reforms carried out over last one year under the government, he said, "To fulfil the aspirations of the July people's uprising, the Law Ministry has taken various steps, including legal and institutional reforms, digitisation, withdrawal of politically motivated cases and routine administrative measures."
