, Feb. 7 -- One person was killed and at least 10 others, including women and children, were injured in a clash over government-owned (khas) land in Nasirnagar upazila of Brahmanbaria on Friday.

The incident took place around 3:00 pm at Lomba Hati area of Khagalia village under Bholakut Union. The deceased was identified as Bashir Mia (55), son of Helal Uddin of the same village.

The injured are Karima Akter, Chanbanu, Asheda Akter, Khairunnesa, Saima Akter, Putul Akter, Nurunnahar Begum, Taslima Begum, Julhas Mia and Bashir Mia.
