Dhaka, March 3 -- Stressing the need for a shift in mindset to refrain from creating unnecessary noise, Environment Adviser Syeda Rizwana Hasan on Monday said preventing noise pollution and raising awareness can significantly reduce the risk of hearing loss.
"Hearing health is not just a personal concern but also a vital environmental and public health issue," she said while addressing a discussion marking World Hearing Day 2025, held at the ENT and Head-Neck Cancer Hospital & Institute at Agargaon.
