Dhaka, June 19 -- The head of the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), Rafael Grossi, has said there is no indication that Iran is currently working on building nuclear weapons.
In an exclusive interview with Al Jazeera, Grossi said, "We did not find in Iran elements to indicate that there is an active, systematic plan to build a nuclear weapon."

He added that inspectors have not seen any evidence suggesting that a nuclear weapon is being constructed or manufactured in Iran.
Grossi's remarks come shortly after the IAEA's Board of Governors passed a resolution declaring Iran non-compliant with its nuclear safeguard obligations.
