Dhaka, June 4 -- National Citizen Party (NCP) on Wednesday announced that it will refrain from using coercion or threats to raise political funds, instead relying on the sale of T-shirts, mugs, books, training programmes and online courses to generate party income.
The party outlined this approach during a press conference held at its head office in the capital to unveil its financial and fundraising policy.
"NCP will not resort to any form of coercion or intimidation to collect political funds. If any irregularities occur, without whistleblowing, one can report the matter anonymously, and appropriate action will be taken in accordance with party regulations," the party said in a statement.
