Dhaka, July 16 -- The blockade enforced by National Citizen Party (NCP) activists at Shahbagh protesting the attack on their fellows in Gopalganj has been withdrawn.
They put the blockade around 5pm demanding the arrest of the attackers within 24 hours.
Abu Bakar Mojumder, central convenor of Bangladesh Ganatantrik Chhatra Sangsad, student wing of the NCP, announced the withdrawal of the blockade.
He said, "We became very disappointed when the administration failed to ensure the security of the July fighters. We have announced blockade programmes across the country.
