, Jan. 7 -- Mir Arshadul Haque, former Joint Secretary of the Central Committee of the National Citizen Party (NCP) and Chief Coordinator of its Chattogram City unit, formally joined the BNP on Wednesday.

He met BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman at the party Chairperson's Gulshan office at around 2:00pm, said BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.

Following the meeting, he became a primary member of the party by filling out the membership form handed to him by BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir.

BNP Treasurer Rashiduzzaman Millat, BNP Content Creator Dr Saimum Parvez, and Sayrul Kabir Khan were also present on the occasion.
