Dhaka, July 7 -- National Board of Revenue (NBR) Chairman Md Abdur Rahman Khan on Monday assured the NBR officials not to be worried and do their duties with utmost sincerity and honesty.

"NBR officials have nothing to fear. Those who have violated the limits on a large scale will be treated differently. In general, no one has any reason to fear," he said.

The NBR chairman made the statement while talking to reporters after visiting Dhaka Customs House.

He said this in connection with the recent retirement, dismissal and transfer after the recent NBR movement.
