, Jan. 4 -- The National Board of Revenue (NBR) on Sunday launched a dedicated Security Operations Centre (SOC) as part of its efforts to strengthen cyber security and protect critical digital infrastructure particularly the ASYCUDA system and other sensitive information assets.

The SOC has been established in line with the cyber security policies and compliance guidelines issued by the National Cyber Security Agency (NCSA).

NBR Chairman Abdur Rahman Khan inaugurated the newly established in-house Security Operations Centre.
