, Feb. 18 -- The Embassy of Algeria in Dhaka observed National Martyrs' Day on Wednesday with a solemn and meaningful programme attended by prominent figures from various sectors, including academics, journalists, business leaders, students and dignitaries.

The event began with the ceremonial hosting of the Algerian national flag, followed by a minute of silence to honor the sacrifices of the martyrs who laid down their lives for Algeria's freedom.
