Dhaka, Feb. 18 -- Three more new national records were created on the 2nd day of the three-day 48th National Athletics Championship 2025 at the National Stadium, Dhaka on Tuesday.
With the day's three new national marks--two in the men's and women's 400-meter hurdles and one in the women's 4x100-meter relay race, the total new national records raised to four in the first two days of the meet.
Nazmul Hossain Ronny of Bangladesh Army made the day's first record in the men's 400-meter hurdles to win the event's gold medal with a timing of 50.84 seconds to improve the event's 31 years old record of 51.87 seconds made by Abdur Rahim Naim in 1993.
