, March 1 -- year-old woman and her daughter were stabbed to at their house at Sabgram in Sadar upazila of Bogura district early Saturday.

The deceased were identified as Anwara Begum and her daughter Sakina Begum, 35.

Quoting family members, Nazmul Haque , in-charge of Naruli Police camp, said Sakina divorced her first husband Badsha Mia and married Rubel six years back.

But due to Rubel's drug addiction she left his house and started to leave along with her mother Anwara and son Sabbir(from her first husband) at Akashtala in the town.

Sakina again married her ex-husband Badsha Mia one month ago.

Hearing the matter, Rubel got furious , entered the house of Sakina and hit Sakina with a sharp weapon, leaving her injured.
