, Dec. 12 -- BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir on Friday met Mongolian Non-Resident Ambassador Ganbold Dambajav at the BNP Chairperson's Gulshan office.

The ambassador's flag-bearing car entered the office premises at around 11am, where Mirza Fakhrul welcomed him.

BNP Standing Committee Member Amir Khosru Mahmud Chowdhury, Organising Secretary Shama Obaef, International Affairs Secretary Rashedul Haque and Mongolia's Honorary Consul General in Bangladesh Nasreen Fatema Awal were also present at the meeting.

Party leaders said the two sides held open discussions on various issues of mutual interest between Bangladesh and Mongolia.
