, Nov. 10 -- As part of the National Unity Day celebrations, a creative masterclass on painting traditional Russian matryoshka dolls was held at the Russian House in Dhaka on Sunday.
The event was conducted by a teacher from St. Petersburg State University in collaboration with the Serov Academy of Fine Arts.
The workshop introduced young participants to one of the most recognisable symbols of Russian culture - the wooden stacking dolls known as matryoshkas.
At the beginning of the session, children watched an educational video showcasing the history and painting process of these traditional dolls.
