Dhaka, May 1 -- year-old man was allegedly stabbed to death by his cousin following an argument over drying paddy in the courtyard in Kasba upazila of Brahmanbaria on Thursday.

The deceased was identified as Sujon Fakir, son of Khokon Fakir of Jajisar village under Kayempur union. Shawon Fakir, 22, is accused of carrying out the attack, according to police.

Kasba Police Station Officer-in-Charge Mohammad Abdul Kader said the two cousins got into a heated argument over drying paddy in their shared yard. At one point, Shawon stabbed Sujon in the chest with a large knife, leaving him critically injured.
