Narail, July 12 -- year-old man was killed in a clash between two groups of villagers over a football match at Kulshur village in Kalia upazila of Narail district on Friday.

The deceased was identified as Zillur Rahman Sardar, 55, son of Anwar Molla of the village.

Local people said a football match was organised at Eklas Uddin Secondary High School ground on Friday afternoon.

There had been long standing enmity between Sheikh Family of Babupur village and Molla Family of Panch Kaunia village over the occupation of the ground .

During the match, the supporters of both locked into an altercation when both groups entered the field, triggering a clash.
