Dhaka, July 1 -- Bangladesh star all-rounder Mahmudullah Riayd is likely to miss their vital match of the ongoing ICC Cricket World Cup against two times champions India at Edgbastom on Tuesday.

"Mahmudullah will not play tomorrow's game (against India) given his today's condition," BCB chief selector Minhajul Abedin Nannu, who is in England with the team, said.

"We have nothing to do with the injury. What I can say right now is that he has no chance to play against India," he told the media at Edgbaston.

The right-handed all-rounder suffered a blow on his right calf muscle during the match against Afghanistan. The batsman was seen to bat with compressed tape on his muscle in that match.
