Dhaka, March 12 -- rounder Mahmudullah Riyad announced his retirement from international cricket on Wednesday.

"I have decided to retire from international cricket. All praises only for the Almighty Allah," Riyad posted on his verified Facebook account on Wednesday evening.

"I would like to thank all of my teammates, coaches & specially my fans who have always supported me," he said.
