Dhaka, Dec. 25 -- Gas pressure will remain low for 18 hours in areas under Titas Gas Transmission and Distribution PLC due to emergency maintenance work at a liquefied natural gas (LNG) terminal, which has temporarily reduced gas supply from LNG sources.

In a press release issued on Thursday night, Titas said gas pressure may remain low at consumer end for all categories of customers from 6:00 am on Friday to 12:00 am (midnight) on Saturday.

During this period, residential, commercial and industrial consumers may face temporary inconvenience while using gas, the statement said.

Titas Gas authorities added that the gas supply will return to normalcy once the emergency maintenance work at the LNG terminal is completed.
