Benapole, Feb. 1 -- Police have recovered the body of Abdur Rashid Gain (52), a local BNP leader, from a rice field beside a road in Monirampur upazila of Jashore.

The body was discovered on Saturday morning in the Hakimpur area by locals. Later, police recovered the body in the afternoon. His (deceased's) motorcycle was found lying nearby, said Monirampur Police Station Officer-in-Charge (OC) Nur Mohammad Gazi.
