Dhaka, March 17 -- Dhaka dwellers got some relief as light rain drenched the capital amid the ongoing mild heat wave in parts of the country.

The drizzles started around 3:30pm, bringing a slight drop in temperature.

Earlier, Bangladesh Meteorological Department predicted rains, thundershowers and lightning flashes in five divisions of the country.

"Rain or thunder showers or lightning flashes accompanied by temporary gusty or squally wind is likely at one or two places over Rajshahi, Dhaka, Mymensingh, Khulna and Sylhet divisions with hails at isolated places," said the bulletin.
