Dhaka, Jan. 5 -- Leaders of five political parties allied with the BNP in the simultaneous movement against the Awami League government held separate meetings with BNP Acting Chairman Tarique Rahman on Monday.
The meetings took place in the afternoon at the BNP Chairperson's Gulshan office.
During the discussions, the leaders talked about the country's current political situation, the law-and-order condition and the forthcoming national election.
The alliance partners are Nagorik Oikya, Ganosamhati Andolan, Labour Party, Jamiat-e-Ulama-e-Islam and AB Party.
