Dhaka, Feb. 24 -- Voicing concern over recent deaths in different hospitals in Dhaka during circumcision, Kamal Uddin Ahmed, chairman of the National Human Rights Commission, said that the extreme lawlessness in the health sector is unexpected and unacceptable.

He said that the commission observed various incidents of injustice and cruelty occurring in different hospitals in the country, according to a press release.

It also noticed that the death of patients due to wrong treatment, negligence and carelessness has increased at an alarming rate in different parts of the country including elite hospitals in the capital.
