Bhola, July 11 -- truck services resumed on 10 major river routes in Bhola on Friday morning after a week-long suspension following the withdrawal of local cautionary signal No-3 for maritime ports.
BIWTA Bhola River Port Traffic Officer Jasim Uddin said launch operations resumed after the cautionary signal was lifted on Thursday afternoon.
Launches and sea-trucks began departing from routes such as Ilisha-Lakshmipur, Daulatkhan-Alexander, and Tazumuddin-Monpura from Friday morning, he said.
The resumption has brought relief to passengers who had been facing travel disruptions for the past week due to inclement weather.
