Kolkata Test: Virat hits ton as India continue to extend lead
Bangladesh, Nov. 23 -- Indian captain Virat Kohli hit his 27th Test ton in Kolkata Test, the first pink-ball Test in the subcontinent, against Bangladesh on Saturday as India continued to extend the lead.
With this century, Virat's international tally reached 70. It was his second ton at Kolkata with the last one came back in 2017 against Sri Lanka.
Resuming their overnight total of 174 for 3 in 46 overs, India posted 289 for 4 in 76 overs at the lunch break of day-2 with Virat and Ravindra Jadeja were batting at 130 and 12 respectively. India extended the lead to 183 runs in their first innings with six wickets in hand.
