Dhaka, Jan. 31 -- Syeda Shameela Rahman Sinthi, wife of the late Arafat Rahman Koko, on Saturday conducted election campaigns in support of BNP Chairman Tarique Rahman ahead of the national election.
Sinthi took part in a door-to-door campaign and distributed leaflets in favour of Tarique Rahman, the BNP-nominated candidate for the Dhaka-17 constituency.
She began her campaign in the afternoon in front of the Subastu Nozor Valley Market in the Shahjadpur area of the capital.
Later, she carried out a similar campaign at shops in the DNCC Market in Gulshan area.
During the campaign, she sought votes from people on behalf of Tarique Rahman.
