, March 13 -- The Korea International Cooperation Agency (KOICA), in collaboration with the Roads and Highways Department (RHD) signed an agreement of USD 8.85 million in Bangladesh's bridge sector.
Aiming to modernise bridge maintenance systems by integrating advanced digital technologies, ensuring safer and more sustainable infrastructure, KOICA and RHD launched the Smart Maintenance Technologies for Bridges in Bangladesh project officially on Thursday.
The Record of Discussion (RoD) for the project was signed at the Economic Relations Division (ERD) premises in the presence of representatives from the government of Bangladesh and the Republic of Korea, marking a significant step toward its implementation.
