Dhaka, Nov. 21 -- BNP Chairperson and former Prime Minister Khaleda Zia will attend the Armed Forces Day reception at Senakunja on Friday afternoon.

The BNP chief is scheduled to leave her Gulshan residence for Senakunja around 3pm, said BNP Media Cell member Sayrul Kabir Khan.

He said Khaleda's medical board allowed her to join the reception after assessing her health condition.

BNP Secretary General Mirza Fakhrul Islam Alamgir and members of the party's Standing Committee are also expected to attend the event.
