, Aug. 28 -- Corruption Commission on Thursday filed a case against former Road Transport and Bridges minister Obaidul Quader and some former top officials of the Bangladesh Bridge Authority for misapplication and irregularities in Karnaphuli Tunnel project.

ACC Director General Akhter Hossain said this at a press briefing in front of the head office of the Commission.

The other accused are former secretary and executive director of the Bridge Authority Khandaker Anwarul Islam, former chief engineer Kabir Ahmed, and former director and permanent member Ali Ullah Ahmed .
