Dhaka, April 5 -- The two teenagers who died in a head-on collision between a motorcycle and a private car on the Kalshi flyover in the capital's Pallabi area on Friday night have been identified.

The deceased were friends Tofazzal and Riyad, both aged 16. Tofazzal was class nine student at BLF School in the Matikata area of Pallabi. Riyad, on the other hand, was a student at a Hafezi Madrasa in Chandpur Sadar, said Officer-in-Charge Nazrul Islam of Pallabi Police Station.

The private car involved in the crash was seized immediately after the incident. Its driver was arrested and later produced before the court, said Sub-Inspector Atiqur Rahman of Pallabi Police Station.
