Dhaka, May 11 -- A group of people injured during last year's July uprising staged a sit-in protest at Dhaka's busy Shahbagh intersection on Sunday morning, demanding justice and a formal ban on the Awami League (AL).

The demonstration disrupted the normal traffic flow in the area, causing inconvenience to commuters, especially those heading towards hospitals for medical care.
