Jessore, Sept. 28 -- Journalists in Sharsha Upazila of Jashore district formed a human chain and held a protest rally on Sunday afternoon in front of the Sharsha Upazila Parishad, demanding the withdrawal of what they described as a conspiracy-driven and false case against Benapole Press Club Organising Secretary Monirul Islam Moni.

Around a hundred media professionals from both electronic and print outlets participated in the protest to express solidarity with Moni and to call for justice.
