Dhaka, March 9 -- Jatiyatabadi Chhatra Dal (JCD), the student wing of the BNP, on Sunday announced that it will organise human chains in educational institutions across the country on Monday to protest the growing incidents of rape, online harassment and violence against women.

The programme also aims to register a protest against the deterioration of law and order in the country, alongside the widespread lack of justice for victims of such crimes.

JCD President Rakibul Islam Rakib and General Secretary Nasir Uddin Nasir made the announcement in a press release, signed by the organisation's office secretary M Jahangir Alam.
