Dhaka, April 8 -- The Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) has appointed James Pamment as the new fielding coach of the national men's team, ahead of a season packed with challenges.

James will take over the role ahead of the home series against Zimbabwe later this month.

The 56-year-old will serve in the role through the ICC ODI World Cup in October-November 2027.

Pamment, an English-born New Zealander, brings a wealth of experience to the Bangladesh setup.

He has been associated with high-level fielding development for over a decade, most recently as an assistant coach for the Mumbai Indians in the Indian Premier League (IPL), where he specialised in fielding and running between the wickets since 2018.
