Islamic University, Feb. 19 -- Islamic University in Kushtia is set to go on a 38-day vacation on the occasion of Holy Ramadan, International Mother Language Day, Dol Purnima, Shab-e-Qadr, Eid-ul-Fitr, and Independence and National Day from February 18.

An office notice, signed by IU acting registrar Professor M Manjurul Haque, was issued in this regard on Thursday.

According to the notice, the vacation will begin on February 18 and continue until March 27, 2026. Academic and administrative activities are scheduled to resume on March 28.

However, departments will be allowed to conduct examinations on dates marked in blue in the university's academic calendar, if necessary.
