Dhaka, June 25 -- The Iranian parliament has voted in favour of a recommendation to suspend cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), the UN's nuclear oversight body.

Mehr news agency reported that 221 lawmakers supported the proposal, while no one voted against it and there was one abstention.

The proposed legislation would bar IAEA inspectors from accessing Iranian facilities unless their security can be guaranteed.
