Dhaka, June 11 -- Bangladesh stalwart Shakib Al Hasan is doubtful for Bangladesh's 4th World Cup encounter against their sub-continental opponent Sri Lanka on Tuesday at Bristol. The all-rounder suffered a blow on his quadriceps during the last game against England.

Bangladesh media manager Rabeed Imam said Shakib went under a precautionary scan which suggested that he suffered a grade-1 strain. The star all-rounder did not participate in the team training session on Monday.

However, it is still not clear whether Shakib will play the match against Sri Lanka or not. If he fails to make it, Sabbir Rahman, the right-handed middle-order batsman, might be included in the playing XI.
