Dhaka, June 30 -- Indian domestic stalwart Wasim Jaffer started his new job with Bangladesh Cricket Board (BCB) as batting coach of its High-Performance Unit (HP) and age-level teams.

As per the initial contract with the BCB, Jaffer will work with HP and age-level teams for one year,

Manager of BCB Game Development and High-Performance Unit Abu Emam Mohammed Kawser, confirmed it UNB on Sunday.

Mohammed Kawser hopes that Jaffer can bring up a big change in the mindset of the Bangladeshi young talented batsmen with his vast experience.

BCB selected Wasim Jaffer because some of the national cricketers like Soumya Sarkar, who played with him in Dhaka League for Abahani Limited and hailed him for his knowledge as a batsman.
