Dhaka, July 29 -- Indian External Affairs Minister S Jaishankar will visit Bangladesh next month, most likely on August 20-21, as the two sides are working to finalise things.

Foreign Minister Dr AK Abdul Momen described Jaishankar's forthcoming visit to Bangladesh as a "courtesy trip".

While talking to a small group of reporters at his office on Monday, the Foreign Minister said the Indian External Affairs Minister has already accepted his invitation to visit Bangladesh.

Dr Momen said he will perform hajj this year and is likely to remain out of the country from August 5 to 17.
