, Nov. 23 -- The National Board of Revenue (NBR) has extended the deadline for submitting income income tax returns by one month until December 31.
The deadline extension was announced on Sunday through a special NBR order.
The previous deadline was 30th November.
In a separate directive, the tax authority also said that any taxpayer facing difficulties in filing returns online due to registration issues in the e-return system may apply to the deputy commissioner of taxes concerned with specific justification by December 15.
