Feni, March 5 -- Illegal occupiers attempted to assault the executive magistrate while he was monitoring the market and evicting unauthorized occupiers from the footpaths during Ramadan in Feni.

This incident occurred on Tuesday (March 4) afternoon near the Sultan Mahmud Municipal hawkers market area in the city.

According to local sources and eyewitnesses, Senior Assistant Commissioner and Executive Magistrate Jahangir Hossain of the district administration was conducting a mobile court operation to evict illegal occupiers from the footpath.
