, Jan. 14 -- The Institute of Chartered Accountants of Bangladesh (ICAB) will host SAFA International Conference 2026 in Dhaka on Saturday.

The conference, titled "Next Generation Profession: Converging Ethical AI and Sustainability Reporting," will bring together a large number of foreign and local delegates, including the President of the International Federation of Accountants (IFAC), the global apex body of the accountancy profession.

To brief the media on the objectives and significance of the event, ICAB organised a press briefing at CA Bhaban in Kawran Bazar, Dhaka, on Tuesday.
