Dhaka, July 7 -- Police arrested a man early Monday on charge of killing his wife, barely 16 hours after her body was found in the capital's Bhatara area.

The arrestee was identified as Kamruzzaman, 30. He was picked up at around 3:30 am from Sonamura in Brahmanbaria's Bijoynagar upazila, DC media of DMP Talebur Rahman said on Monday.

Bhatara thana police received a phone call through 999 on July 5 morning. The caller informed the police that the body of an unidentified young woman was found in the east unit of the fourth floor of a six-storey building in Khilbarirtek.
