Dhaka, April 4 -- Tawhid Hridoy is likely to be named captain of Mohammedan Sporting Club for the remainder of the Dhaka Premier League season, as veteran opener Tamim Iqbal continues his recovery following a recent health scare and his return to cricket remaining uncertain.
Team manager Sazzad Ahmed confirmed the media on Friday that the young batter is being seriously considered for the leadership role, with a final decision expected ahead of their upcoming match against Prime Bank Cricket Club on April 6.
