, Aug. 29 -- A housewife committed suicide at her home in Bhedarganj upazila of Shariatpur on Friday morning over continuous family dispute.

The deceased, Majeda Khatun, 27, was a resident of Muna Pradhania Kandi village in North Tarabunia Union and wife of Abul Khayer Abu Hossain Mollah who fled away after the incident.

According to police and family sources, Majeda had a long history of disputes with her husband and it eventually prompted her to take her life.
