, June 6 -- Home Adviser Lt Gen (retd) Jahangir Alam on Friday said he is "100 percent confident" about the security measures taken in Dhaka during the upcoming Eid-ul-Azha, with 500 patrol teams deployed across the capital.

He made the remarks while speaking to reporters after inspecting security arrangements at the city's National Eidgah ground in the morning.

The adviser said Eid prayers will be held in the usual manner, and law enforcement agencies are working across the country to ensure overall security.
