Dhaka, Nov. 21 -- Health Adviser Nurjahan Begum visited Dhaka Medical College Hospital (DMCH) on Friday to assess the condition of earthquake victims from across the country.

She arrived at the hospital's emergency room around 1:45 pm and visited several wards.

During her visit, she also met with the families of the victims, including that medical student Rafi and the child who lost their lives during the quake.

Bangladesh earthquake: Over 100 injured in Narsingdi

Earlier, the earthquake jolted Dhaka and other parts of Bangladesh on Friday morning.

The epicentre of the earthquake was 13 km east of the BMD Seismic Centre in Agargaon, Dhaka, BMD added.
