Dhaka, Feb. 23 -- Chief Prosecutor of the International Crimes Tribunal (ICT) Tajul Islam on Sunday alleged that former Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina ordered the authorities at the National Institute of Traumatology and Orthopaedic Rehabilitation (NITOR) not to provide treatment or release victims of the July uprising during her visit to the hospital.

Speaking at a press briefing, Tajul Islam said that the prosecution has gathered evidence confirming Hasina's directive to the hospital authorities.

"Hasina gave the order to the authorities concerned at NITOR, and the prosecution has received evidence of it," he said.
